Background
The eternal battle between the good and evil has continued through the ages. Insurance has never been an exception from the clutches of the menace of fraud. Fraud and its detection assume special importance in insurance because the price of fraudulent practices must be borne by the genuine people by way of increased premium.
As Corporate Governance gained more importance, positive assurance to all stakeholders that security and discipline would be maintained within the organization, is the need of the hour.
